Our journey commenced in 1995 when our visionary founder, Dr. Jeremy Tan, embarked on a career in the optical industry by joining an optical shop, where he pursued studies in F.B.D.O through 100% study sponsorship. Over seven years of dedicated work and study undergoing similar arrangement like Corporate Sponsorship Rewards Programme, Dr. Jeremy Tan fulfilled his dream of establishing his very own Optical Outlet just two years later. The driving force behind the establishment of Akademi J&W was Dr. Jeremy Tan’s unwavering commitment to providing opportunities, especially for underprivileged SPM & STPM school leavers, to access high-quality tertiary education while simultaneously charting their individual career paths.
